INSTALLATION HARDWARE
BLOWER BELT COVERS
|
Blower belt covers are fabricated from 1/8" thick 5052-H32 aluminum and highly
polished. They are designed as a cover, NOT A GUARD.
They will keep towels, and
other common boating items from getting into the belt. THEY
WILL NOT KEEP A SHREDDING BLOWER BELT IN A CONFINED SPACE.
There are several different styles. Basically, the idler
position and having or not having an
intercooler are the differences.
Also, there are two different mounting
styles. All thread and spacers or dzus tab style.
Covers are 4 1/2" deep and usually allow 1" of
clearance around the belt and extend 2" below the water inlet plates
on the block of BB Chevy. The covers do not have any holes drilled in them and are field
mounted.

Driveshaft cover is fabricated from 6061 T6 aluminum and highly
polished. They are 7" in overall length but can be made any
length.

454-350 Chevy flywheel cover is fabricated from aircraft quality
aluminum and highly
polished. The flywheel covers will accept our driveshaft cover
(10625). They are light weight and will not support engine
weight. If driveshaft cover is not used, bolts must be installed
where cover mounts to secure backing plates. The flywheel
cover bolt pattern is the same as the 350 or 454 Chevy engine block.

460 Ford flywheel cover is fabricated from aircraft quality
aluminum and highly polished. The flywheel covers will accept our driveshaft cover
(10625). They are light weight and will not support engine
weight. If driveshaft cover is not used, bolts must be installed
where cover mounts to secure backing plates. The flywheel
cover mounts by using the bottom two engine block bolts and the top
mounting tabs must be tapped into a plate style back mount.

454 Chevy front V-bottom mount is fabricated from 3/8" 6061 T6 aluminum and highly polished.
A window is cut into the left side of the mount for mechanical fuel
pump. Port and starboard alternator provisions are available.
Note that water injected headers will drip on port mounted
alternators. Mount is 26" wide and 3 3/4" deep from crankshaft
centerline to the bottom of mount. Together with the rear
V-bottom mount it will put the engine at a 4 degree angle.

454 Chevy front Tunnel bottom mount is fabricated from 3/8" 6061 T6
aluminum and highly polished. A hole is cut into the left side of the mount for
a mechanical fuel
pump. The mount must be spaced forward approximately 1" to
allow clearance for the mechanical fuel pump. Starboard side alternator provisions are
provided. Mount is 26" wide and 2 1/2"" deep from crankshaft
centerline to the bottom of mount. Together with the rear
Tunnel bottom mount, it will put the engine at a 4 degree angle.

crankshaft centerline to the bottom of mount. The rear mount must be placed on engine block before flywheel.
The back side of the mount is clearanced for flywheel
interference.

454 and 350 Bare Bones Chevy Rail Kit is perfect for the entry level
boater that just wants to mount the motor in the boat. Made with 6061
T-6 aluminum. 3/8" thick motor mounts are 26" wide and have
previsions to mount the alternator on the left or right side of the
motor, 5th generation spun flywheel cover, heavy duty 2 1/2" X 2
1/2" X 1/4" stringer rails, motor blocks machined from a single
block of aluminum Comes complete with
fasteners.
Note: Flywheel cover does not have provisions to mount a driveshaft
cover.
Top mount starter option is for a Delco 2

Stringer Mount Foot Pedal Assemblies are hand fabricated from 6061 T6 aluminum and highly polished.
Designed to either push or pull to accelerate. Note: Push pedal
assemblies have the control cable exiting the rear of the assembly
and pull pedal assemblies have the control cable exiting the front
of the assembly and the control must routed 180 degrees. Three
different standoff (distance from stringer to foot pedal centerline)
locations are available 4 1/2", 7" and 8 1/2".

10285 DUAL PEDAL ASSEMBLY

Our Dual Pedal Assembly is fabricated from 6061 T6 aluminum and the
cross bar is stainless steel. All pieces are highly
polished. Designed for center steering boats. The right pedal
is usually the throttle pedal with a pedal stop and the left pedal
is a rest. The pedals can be mount anywhere on the cross
shaft.

10290/10291 FOOT PEDAL BLANK

Our Foot Pedal blanks are made of 6061 T-6 aluminum. The inset
and back side have a grain finish and the outside is highly
polished. They are light weight and if
they are used in a heavy duty application (cavitation plate pedal)
they must be mounted on top of a subplate.
