Marine Carburetors from 600 to 1295 CFM. The difference between
a marine and an automotive carburetor is fire safety. All
marine accessories like starters, alternators, and carburetors are
design around fire safety. Starters and alternators are
tightly wrapped to minimize any spark or ignition source.
Carburetors are designed with sealed throttle shafts and U style
vent tubes to minimize fuel being poured onto the manifold in the
event of a suck float or a fuel over pressure.

We learned a lot about intake manifolds on our test engines: what
works and what does not work. The intake manifold is an
extension of the cylinder head. Velocity is the key to good
cylinder head and intake manifold. Shown here is a CNC ported
Super Victor intake manifold with a anti-reversion plate. This
was 30 ft lbs on our 632 test engine.
The leading edge of the runners is purposely bulbous. This allows the
air stick to the radius and maintain velocity.

Available in hydraulic, solid, hydraulic roller, and solid roller,
these camshafts are custom ground with wet exhaust in mind.
Exhaust valve event timing is the key to these reversion-free
camshaft designs.
